Markley’s music stands out thru the authenticity of her lyrics and ability to fearlessly share her struggles and joys through her writing.

Bassist - Peter Ricci
Lead Guitar/backup vocals - Matt Bacnis

Amanda's first big break came when she sent a rough track of her song “Home” to the talented Scott Krippayne (15 #1 hits recorded by Jordin Sparks, Demi Lovato, Point of Grace and Kutless to name a few). Seeing potential, he produced the 2012 album Breathe and co-wrote the track “You and Me”. Full of inspiration, borne out of her personal struggles with anxiety disorder and panic attacks, the album is about finding your purpose, trying to believe in yourself and not giving up, no matter what the odds are.

The latest in Markley’s library of works is an upbeat EP titled Lost In Summer. With driving rock sounds and guitar riffs, it hooks the listener with a fairytale summer-love feel just right for long road trips or a beach dance party.

Only 19 years old, Amanda was chosen from Ernie Ball’s Battle of the Bands to play Van’s Warped Tour ‘13 in Seattle on the Acoustic Basement stage. She also had the opportunity to travel to Van’s Warped Tour in Las Vegas for an exclusive interview & performance with a major sponsor of the Tour, Zing Revolution.

A Seattle native, Amanda has had the opportunity to share billing with some tremendous artists, including Wiliam Beckett, Owen Plant, Brian Marquis, Allison Weiss and Charlotte Sometimes, to name a few. She is balancing her music career with her time as a University student. She gives back to the community as often as she can. With a background in local theatre, she has performed with the Sing It Forward Scholarship program, has choreographed a Summer Theater Children’s Ensemble and works part time at KTUB, a YMCA resource facility for the arts and music, giving teens a positive supportive environment to make a difference.
